Help us again this Christmas in bringing cheer to elderly in nursing homes that do not have family. Since the loss of thousands of seniors who were receiving care in nursing home during the pandemic, Voices for Seniors has been gifting practical items to residents in long-term care facilities.
Voices For Seniors was founded after the heartbreaking loss of our grandparents, parents, siblings and spouses while at a nursing home. When Covid-19 hit in the early days of the pandemic we saw an unprecedented action taken, nursing homes were closed to family. This decision was taken out of an abundance of caution for our most vulnerable. However, as our loved ones succumbed to Covid-19 we were faced with many controversies. Information was withheld from families by our leaders and facilities often kept loved ones in the dark only to find out later that many of these deaths could have been prevented. We have turned our grief into a mission to stand with the grieving families that experienced this terrible situation and advocate for the elderly and nursing home residents. We work tirelessly to help protect the seniors of the present and future.
